Neurosurgery Intro.

Neurosurgery is often one of the most revered position in the surgical world. (I’m sure a lot of you have seen Grey’s Anatomy, Derek). Neurosurgery is particularly interesting because it’s still such an unknown frontier. There is so much unknown, everything has to be taken into extra careful consideration. It is one of the most intricate of the surgeries, and requires a lot of dedication and time. It is also the only surgical specialty where the patients are awake for parts of the surgery. This makes it that much more exciting and heart pounding.
